Uh... maybe just one please ![]() Not saying they aren't worth it, and I'm assuming you would be adding very little mark-up to make it worth your while, but still -- ouch. That is a bit high for an emblem, even a beautiful one. That said, having seen the plastic ones, I'd rather buy one of your metal ones for a few bucks more.

Don't ever ask a skilled artisan to sell his work cheap. Time, skilz, training, raw materials and hundred thousand $+ CNC machines (that you're getting the benefit of for free) don't come without a price....

This. It's a one-off, custom item. He must be undertaking great personal expense to produce these things. The bonus is that the piece will be relatively unique and very high quality.

I'm suggesting that a couple hundred bucks for hood ornaments is expensive. He could make these out of gold, and they might be valued in the thousands and sought out by rare art collectors, but again, these are hood ornaments ![]() I'm sure someone will buy them, and probably a spare set too. I think this is a great project, but given a choice between putting my lunch money towards lunch or hood ornaments, I'll take lunch ![]()
