I get from 18-20 mpg, this is calculated with the mileage/gallons at the pump. I don't pay any attention to the gauge in the car, the car meter is always much higher than calculating with mileage/gallons, what I pay is "real" mileage, haha.
I'm satisfied with the mileage I have now, I pump 1/2 tank of normal gas and half a tank of premium, so far no big difference in mileage and I don't flog it so no diff there either. |
ive averaged almost exactly 17mpg over the ~16k miles ive driven the z. most of my driving is short trips under 10 miles.

I gets 22mpg combined

Over the course of a weekend with the car, having fun and just cruising, my MPG tends to settle around 19 or 20. When im driving in-town stop go stop go, and the read timescale is short (like a few hours or a day) the lowest avg ive seen is 13-14. If im cruising on the highway for 25 miles, and i measure the MPG just for that drive, and i try to get the best MPG possible i can hit a max of 28 or 29.
|
i get about 20-22mpg average. i only drive on weekend mornings when traffic is usually light.

Last three fills-ups with varying amounts of highway/city driving ---
21.7, 23.2, 22.6 |
I usually average 18-21 (calculated at fill up) depending on how I drive the car that tank. I just road tripped the Z a couple weeks ago and averaged around 28mpg highway. I was mainly doing between 75-80mph, with some bursts to 100-110 because I couldn't resist.
I don't particularly care about MPG but am pleasantly surprised. |
After about 25K miles of daily highway commute for the wife, the Z became my DD. She averaged around 21.5 mpg for the life of the car. My commute is city miles, but I avoid highway traffic by taking alternate side streets. For about 10K miles, I got no more than 18 mpg unless I was really trying to get good mileage - I struggled to get 300 miles on a tank filling up at least 17 gallons 95% of the time. I got an EcuTek tune in May and I've put over 5K miles on it since. I'm now getting 20 mpg on my daily commute and 350 miles per tank without trying (with the same fill up habits - 17+ gallons each time) When I take it out to have fun, I typically get 12-15 mpg.
|
I pump 1/2 regular and 1/2 93 - because I'm cheap.

19-20 mpg. A7, 75% city, 25% freeway. Best of about 24 on the highway and worst of about 17 in town. Regardless of what car I drive I usually get whatever the EPA City Rating is (for that particular car) for my normal driving, my 2010 A7 Sport Package Z carried a city rating of 19 mpg so I am getting what I expected.

6MT - 22.3ish on avg.
Before my exhaust it was about 24-25mpg. Can't figure out why a sweet sounding exhaust made it drop... :ugh: :icon17: Even if I baby it, I still get 22.5ish. I just drive like a grandma, and mainly highways. |
Several Factors...
... When I first got my Z, I drove her to Houston and Back, all Interstate - I saw 27mpg on the Computer... Not Kidding. Ambient Temps was about 100°F, driving at 70mph on Cruise Control. She was bone stock back then and I was very easy on her because of the Break-in period...
Since then...a few mods... I got used to the car, Love the K&N CAI+the Fast Intentions Deep Rich Exhaust sound which = Outstanding throttle response, and Love the Eibach Sway Bars which = outstanding steering response... Result... can't keep my foot off the throttle, can't get my mpg past 18 -20 at best... Oh well, I certainly did not buy a Z to drive her like a Prius-of-S#!T... :hello: |

bone stock manual. goes down to average 17mpg when i drive like a punk. normal tank (balance of mild driving and every so often opening it up a bit) = 20 mpg. road trips get me somewhere around 27 mpg.
|
who the hell gets 28? you should all be slapped
|
Yeah you're right, what was I thinking cruising down the highway in 6th gear for 300miles. I shouldve been 3rd or 4th near redline the whole time to avoid getting decent mpg

7AT here, got 26 doing 70 to 75 on a highway trip home, but that drops to 15-18 when I am on back roads:driving:
|
Just did the conversion from l/100km.
I'm getting about 17.5mpg. I always shift at 2-3k (3.5-5k when I want to go fast) is that why my mpg is so low? I also do very little highway driving. :( |
Not a reset then pic :p 350 mile drive to Tennessee and back all highway no traffic.
http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/08/30/mazububu.jpg Almost 30 mpg at 80mph  |
^tailwind maybe?

Gas prices gettin better tho! Atleast we not in a recession. I paid 10 cents more a gallon at the regular place. Better than most places charging more tho:driving:

The real number is much higher. As they like to add in the government jobs to the numbers. How can you factor government jobs in when they don't make a product or provide any type of service. F-ing azz clowns in DC all of them.

Hopefully next weekend I'll stop being lazy and finally go up North. I've put it off for about two months almost. :shakes head: |
I filled up right before going out of town for a week with 400 miles on 17.5 US Gal (22.8 mpg). I came back and promptly got 300 miles on 18.6 US Gal (16.1 mpg). I think I missed her. My next tank was back over 20 mpg :icon17:
|
28+ because
a: I drive like a grandpa b: it never gets driven. 1K miles in 3 months :) |
it used to be 19 mpg until I moved offices. Instead of 80mpg in 6th gear on the freeway, now it's 15 mph on the freeway because of traffic. Now I get 15 mpg since I'm in first gear the whole time.
|
I just filled up and calculated 21.2mpg. This tank was just a lot of cruising with the wife.
In other news, its quite nice to see sub $4/gal premium prices for almost a month now. |
16.3 lt/100km or 14.4MPG
92octane, spirited driving, 100% city. Never saw big difference between stock and with mods. |

That is why I wake up 5am or around 1am to drive it on an open sleeping road. Btw I average about 19 to 23 mpg. |
Been using as a DD for a few weeks now, my commute is about 1/4 city and 3/4 highway about 30 miles each way. I've been sitting around 23mpg average. I'm fairly impressed.
