A lot of members here cringe at that thought(a Z hybrid).

What is so disappointing was when this guy complimented my car by saying that's the best looking black 350z.

I came out of a drug store recently...there was a guy standing there with his wife looking at my 370...I walked up and he sort of "woke up" and said "is that one of those Hybrids?" I asked "do you mean Concept cars?" He said "yes". Had to tell him "no it was a production model" and he looked confused...he said "well, it sure is nice. Never seen one like that before." I just said "it's a 370" and he walked off. It was like he was looking at a space craft...lol.

hey i wouldn't mind it if the Z was hybrid. Leave the gas drivetrain alone with the exception of the inline generator, throw in a lightweight lithium battery pack, and then put two high capacity pancake motors in the front for maybe an extra 50-75 horespower of traction controlled electronically differentiated 4 wheel drive. My standpoint is that it all depends on how they do it.

Bad news, dude. I think Smoky Nagata is working on this exact idea.

that's pretty funny, maybe you should buy some Nissan "Hybrid" emblems or "EV" stickers and slap it on the side of the car, then you replace your 370z emblem with a 350z Emblem. And while you're at it, you can replace your Nissan emblem with a Porsche emblem. Apparently some people are just too dumb to even know.

I was driving to get some tasty Rally's for dinner one night about two weeks ago and I come to a stop light. In my rear view mirror I see the 4 round headlights of a 05-09 'stang rolling up in the lane next to me. The guy pulls up in his GT convertable and starts pointing really fiercely at my car. I'm like "WTF?" so I hit the switch and my window goes down. He keeps pointing and shaking his head and smiles and says "God DAMN! Now that's what's up!" I laugh and say thanks and he says "That car is NICE!" I chuckled again goosed it off the line when I saw the light turn green. I love the attention I get in this car.

I've come across more than 1 person in $100,000+ car who told me about the 280Z or 300Z they had back in the day.
