It's stiff but not harsh. And the cabin noise is fine about 98% of the time. The other 2% is still tolerable. I just wish the steering wheel telescoped just a tiny bit. If comfort is your only concern about the car, you should definitely get it. Don't worry about it! And if you don't believe me go test drive the car.
