.I'll post up a video of my track events when I get home. BTW, not to say yours is a BAD idea at all - just saying, the things you theorize are there, arent really there in the finished product lol.

I had more on my youtube that I didnt post up from my track event I went to. No granny driving around town though - thats kinda pointless/boring lol. I have no doubt yours will work just fine though.

so, in that case, here is the vid: homemade camera mount test, canyon run on Vimeo ... it's not even bad. still getting used to the car (though it's not my first Z. had a 350z for 5 1/2 years before I got rear-ended a few weeks ago, and before that was a 300zx. love my Zs!) |

awesome vid. i want to take my car to the track, but i don't have the guts to do it. zero experience w/ track driving, and i'm worried about insurance. though I guess public roads is far less safe for me and others...
either way, nice vid. my only beef with the mount is the rocking forwards and backwards during braking/accel, which is what i thought would happen when i initially saw your mount. other than that, you were right, it has no vibration (mine has a bit). now i want to build yours to compare lol |

You can get insurance for a track event. I think its $250 per event. Something I should have done my first time out haha. Oh well
