My mount was perfectly quiet, and vibration was not apparent at all. Mounting it to something that's a semi-direct component of the suspension would probably vibrate more, IMHO  .
I'll post up a video of my track events when I get home.
BTW, not to say yours is a BAD idea at all - just saying, the things you theorize are there, arent really there in the finished product lol.
