let him keep thinking hes a badass until he realizes that streetlights, telephone poles, concrete barriers, curbs, buildings, guard rails, and most anything else he is probably bound to hit can do more damage to him then he can do it.

Granted, this happens mostly in my home town of about 70,000. Larger cities don't seem to have the same affliction.

thats freakin hilarious. your absolutely right.

i've had kids in raised trucks, civis, and every other kind of car lose they're mind when they see me and either get pissed off while giving me a dirty look or cutting me off... granted they cannot keep up after i pass them.

do you guys have some sort of "hey you want to race" signal?

here its the person wanting to race flashes his lights and if you want to race you respond with putting the hazard signal on for two seconds.

did this with a ibiza.

I knew there were cops there since I passed there earlier.

he flashed his lights I responded, he passed me and smashed down the throttle.

thenI see a beautifull flash and blue lights. he must of been going 100ish in a 45 zone

I find it interesting, on the parkway every SUV and 15 year old rust bucket wants to race me. Seriously? I don't really care...And then whenever a mustang, 350z, sti etc rolls up next to me they check out my car and that's it.

So some kid asks me if I want to race last night at a convience store. So I asked him what he had and he told me a Pontiac G8, I told him hes 'not worth my time', just cause I don't street race. Well he tells me its supercharged and running like low 13s, I call BS and go off to finish getting what I needed. When I get done I walk outside. Hood of the G8 pops open- Supercharger, then out come about 15 time slips. I'm like FML

I woulda responded "Nice job kid, you've got some pretty decent times with that SC you slapped on;

how does it handle flying into a turn? Mine runs low 13's stock"

I like to give credit where credits due, and I did tell him he had some pretty good times. All of the slips were consistent as well. He also admited without the supercharger it would be a pretty good race. The owner was cool, the friend was a PITA. From seeing them around, the friend drives a Jeep. And the rest of their crew who are pretty cool drive some worked cars. Evo, Mazda Speed, Sti. The one kid has a 350Z, and even though they are all cool and like my 370. The kid with the 350 couldn't even look at it. Must be a maturity thing, the older the 350Z owner the cooler they are. The difference between a wanna-be and an enthusiast.

The owner was a nice kid, pretty cool. His friend he was letting drive it.... Big ol' fag. Guess he friend wanted to feel all special with his friends car cause he doesn't have a decent one himself.

lol, nice kid or not, anyone starts talking quarter mile numbers to me, I take it as a personal challenge, and leads me to believe the other guy thinks his car is better, call it macho, call it proud, but to me, I drive the best thing going
