I don't get any vibration through the clutch pedal.

I drove a 350z for several months (ex-girlfriends car) and I think the reason first to second is hard to do smoothly has something to do with the throttle being throttle by wire (no throttle cable its done electronically) and the clutch being done by cable. Its funny you mention this because I spent countless times trying to get it as smooth as possible while driving. If you are driving more aggressively the issue is non existent!

count me as another who doesn't get any vibrations.

a minor complaint I do have though, is occasionally I get a rattle from the hatch. its almost like the hatch door isn't shut tightly and something rattles a bit. you can't hear it if musics playing, but you can if you listen to talk radio. it doesn't do it all the time but I haven't figured out why it does it sometimes.

I test drove the Z twice and both cars make some wierd noise when I push in the clutch while the car is almost at a stop. I have to say the clutch is really a weak point of the car. Its very difficult to engage smoothly and I've been driving a stick all my life. Maybe it just takes some getting used to?

In the mornings before the motor is warm, I get a high pitch when the clutch is pressed all the way down. Especially when I put it in revers to back out from the garage.

Anyone know what that might be????
Other than that, I think its overall much better than my 350z 2008 I traded for the 370Z, just miss the awesome sound form the exhaust though.

Don't know if anyone else has this issue, but I use my hatch a lot. I've gotten annoyed with having to press the open button twice whenever I want to open the hatch. One press is used to unlock and unhook the hatch, but it's as if the hydraulic lifts aren't fast enough to clear the hook, so it catches again, leaving the hatch hanging onto the latch. Press number two unhooks again and then I can open the hatch fully.

Anyone know what I'm talking about?

I am still very new in ownership, but I do not like that I cannot close the hatch without touching a painted surface. I hate (HATE) the finger marks left by closing the hatch. All I want to a handle on the underside so I can pull it down without touching the outside. Maybe it is there and I cannot see it.

And I dislike the HUGE import tax here in PR.

I agree with this as well, this is a big problem when you have a black car and live in a dusty environment.

Same complaint here. Even my RSX had a handle inside the hatch. What I do as a workaround is use my index finger and pull down on the latch ring. Wipe off any grease from the ring first and after a few tries you'll get a feel for how much force you need to overcome the hydraulics without slamming the hatch.

Strange- I actually only have to press it once. If the car is locked, as long as your key is nearby you just press the right button once. I never use the first lock/unlock button on the left.
