but the rear wiper on the 350Z is fugly. I definitely am glad the 370Z doesn't have one (purely cosmetic reasons, though).

Zero complaints - there are too many things I love about the car to start nitpicking the minor things that are bothersome to me.

My biggest complaint is the lack of "What Oil Should I Buy?" and "What Tires Should I Buy?" threads on this forum.

I agree, but if I lived in NYC I'd probably decide it was worth it

Default My List

I do love my but there are a few things . . .

Regarding problems, my hatch sticks in cold weather, it pops up but doesn't completely release, you have to press the button again. One of the cargo hold downs broke after 1 1/2 years and I wasn't even trying to bungee down a Buick, just my work bag.

For dislikes, there are a few . . .
Agree with the comments about the seats. I wish the bottom had more adjustment range and was slightly longer (I'm 5'10" - 170 lbs.). That said, drive an S2000 sometime, holy crap, talk about tight. The side bolsters will poke holes in ya!

I hate (I know, such a strong word) auto headlights so the fact that Nissan doesn't put the auto position at either end makes me crazy.

Even more, I hate (there I go again) the auto dash lights, please just give me a day/night button, I can handle it, really !

Car should have a telescoping steering column.

The gate for 5th and 6th gears could use some work. It is hard to skip 5th and not hit the reverse gate. Maybe it's the reverse gate that could use a tweak.

Still love my Z.

My only complain about the Z is Im having a hard time driving it slow .

I HATE that it just take for a few seconds to reach 60 to 100miles/hr then I had to slow down again to maintain the speed limit of 70miles.

Cruise control is such a bore.

I wish there's a autobahn over here.

Seats do suck, i was sitting my boss's porsche, and i loved how low and sporty the seats were.

Visibility is not a problem since i'm passing everyone anyways, panoramic side mirrors would be cool tho.

Clock gauge should have arms to match other gauges instead of numbers.

IMHO Nissan could learn something from Honda shifters.

Anyway, just my experience. Thanks for reading the post.

After four years and new hatch springs, my hatch also continues to require the double take as soon as the weather cools. Has anyone found a solution to this annoyance?

Put some coins in the bottom of the rubber boot of the hatch spring. Very easy job. At least one DIY on this site.

Edit: And make sure the seal and the mating surface are clean and not sticking.

DIY: Weight reduction/Fix hatch not opening issue
