So if I paid $50k for a platinum Ford F150, it's still just a $25k vehicle because that's what I can get a bare bones base V8 for? Sorry that math doesn't add up. MSRP is MSRP.

This is how I see it, but I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and hey its their money to do what they want.

I got my base with sport package for right at $32,000 ........... I will add a very nice aftermarket stereo for about $3,000 and be way ahead of the game. To each his own though, some prefer "turnkey" out the door
