Question about the Z's seats for the bigger guys

Is it a no no (from a legal perspective) to yank out the stock seats for aftermarket ones since the aftermarket seats do not have airbags??

Yup, my wifes Highlander does if I remember correctly, but yeah, have seen it on more than a few cars. They use them to form the side airbags along the door.
