What makes this dyno pointless? People keep on forgetting the main reason behind a dyno is for tuning purposes. Numbers are just numbers. What really matters is how those numbers change within the same dyno during any modifications.

A dyno is only pointless if you're just looking for a "number".

If the 370Z read 310 whp in a dynapack, then read 240 in a mustang dyno, does that make any difference?

I could not agree more. If you are really concerned about high dyno queen numbers, go find a high reading dyno. For tuning, as long as you have a baseline and a final number, most any dyno will do the job. How the numbers change before and after modifications on the same dyno is all that matters.
