Injected Performance 370Z dyno video, 258whp DD

We had a chance to strap our Nissan 370Z down briefly for some baseline numbers. On our dyno dynamics 'heart breaker' it produced 258whp completely stock. Stay tuned for future developments. :)

Hmm was expecting a little more but Great 1st dyno. The Pearl White looks superb. Thanks for the video. This is the first 370Z dyno video in the US! Good job.

i thought someone else posted a dyno at like 290 rwhp, I guess they were just blowin smoke

GTM posted 189RWHP (or something like that). This is DEFINITELY a spill down hill.

How many pulls did you do? How high is the elevation in your area?

U mean 289whp. That was done on a dynojet which reads higher. I think 260whp for a bone stock Z is really good on a dyno dynamics. Great job injected. Cant wait to see what u do with it.

Yes, someone else made close to 290whp on a Dynojet. For anyone not familiar with the Dyno Dynamics, we normally see a 12.5% increase in hp number going from our dyno to a Dynojet. If you use that same 12.5% on our 258whp... 258 * 1.125 = 290

From our blog,
2003 Nonrevup 350Z: 215whp
2006 Revup 350z: 234whp
2009 VQ35HR 370Z: 258whp

Do you have dyno curves of the previous engines? That VQ37 torque curve looks so smooth and broad. It'll be nice to squeeze more out of that engine :-)

this dyno is more in line wth what the G37 is getting.

:ugh2:

GTM will be "out of business" if that's what they are getting from their Z! :icon17:

All relative?

Due to all the differences based on altitude, humidity, temperature etc, software .........dyno device, I tend to look at HP and Torque changes between OEM baseline and improvements (bolt ons etc) and not really the absolute numbers.

Although, the absolute numbers can always be used as a "brag" factor if they are good (note the signature block):stirthepot:

LOL! Yeah, 289... Sorry, I do that a lot! (This is why I do porn and not build rockets)

Cown3d 01-23-2009 02:16 PM

like i said in the other thread, 260whp is really nice to see on a dyno dynamics!

Crash 01-23-2009 02:20 PM

Are dyno dynamics generally lower than the other dynos?

Cown3d 01-23-2009 02:29 PM

yep ive ussually seen about 12-13% lower
