see the thing is this dyno dynamics and mustang dyno's are 'loaded' dyno they simulate the weight of having to move the car also! so when you on a dyno jet and get your 290whp, thats just how much you can make to the wheels when you make that power on a loaded dyno thats the power you actually HAVE moving the car. also they are alot better for tuning because they simulate actual load on the motor and drivetrain better, providing more accurate tuning |

Both of these are excellent when it comes to tuning. If I could, I would only get tuned on these. It may read lower, but I don't care about numbers; I care about accuracy, consistency and real usable power. |

One of the many reasons why dynapacks are great is because they are very consistent. I have never seen that consistency from any other dyno. Not only that, but the fact that they read off of the hubs really shows how specifics mods affected your cars performance without having other variables such as a change in rotational mass (ie. just happened to get a new set of wheels that are heavier) skewing the effects of engine modifications. I'm not saying other dynos aren't good for tuning but its great to avoid all those other variables when someone is tuning a car. Speaking in general and not directing this to anyone... people these days care too much about "numbers", specifically peak numbers, without really understanding what they're really looking at.
