Obviously, the answer is no.

And of course the people who spent more will think its sour grapes lol.
No, in this case, the $40000 Rolex does keep time better than $33000 one. The Nismo has much better suspension, aero parts, wheels, more power/torque, better seats, body dampers. So its not just the same rolex with a titanium case. Which means for you Nismo haters, SOUR GRAPES!

Hey Vipor - care to put your input on this? Im not going to bother since, god forbid, I'm not a NISMO owner (BTW, G Fo12ce, I had definitely squashed anything with you or the rest of the thread for that matter, but this guy takes the cake...). The fact that you actually listed aero parts makes me chuckle, though...

He just meant the body kit, which, visually, is the defining trait of the Nismo imo. And from the prices of these pieces individually, it's definitely the biggest chunk of the "value' of the Nismo.

I'd certainly hope so, because ANY performance gain from them is practically non-existent at best...

Now, if he was saying its a performance gain? Yeahhhhh....

IIRC, someone did some sort of aerodynamics test on the Nismo wing and saw a decrease in whatever measurement helps go faster at higher speeds.

Sorry for the complete lack of intellectual terms.

Psh, not holding anything against you for that. You're thinking of the coefficient of drag. The difference was minuscule at best. And probably questionable.

BOLD: Not true

It has a "different" exhaust. I wouldn't even necessarily call it "better." It does sound better, but every single aftermarket exhaust trumps the Nismo exhaust.

The seats are just the regular cloth seats with custom stitching. Hell, the 40th has the same accent stitching on leather.

The suspension upgrades are minimal.. struts and springs. It's noticeable for sure, but there are better products all over the place. While the dampers probably help with some chassis rigidity, they are not touted as such. Supposedly they're more for vibration than anything.

The only "upgrades" that cannot be contested are the body kit, wheels, and the exclusivity of the car (numbered).
