Looks similar to what I did back in December.....rainy road + loosing it around a curve equaled:







It doesn't look all that bad.....new door skin, new passenger mirror, new bumper, new fender, and unfortunately I did need a new headlight.....$4999.98! It was a painful check to write. No insurance claim on that one.....didn't want my insurance to go up anymore than I already am paying.

I hope you get your Z fixed real soon! Looking forward to seeing it @ Z Dayz!

it will def. be at Zdayz, and thanks for the info on the quote. I shouldn't need a door or headlight, so that helps my budgeting.

Funniest thing....well, not that funny, but the most expensive thing to repair was the headlight assembly! I would have saved over $1000 but the place I took it to decided it needed to be replaced. No insurance claim = let's charge this dude full price and get a headlight out of him, too!

I still have the passenger headlight and the housing and everything looks fine to me. Ah well.....at least it was repairable and not a total loss.

Lol. If you didnt crap your core support, you ought to be just fine - considerably cheaper. ESPECIALLY if you didnt bust a headlight at all (I didnt think so at first, but it busted a couple brackets on the bottom side of mine).

So ironic - almost identical damage spots, and the same track even. Just not the same spot.

Thats THREE 370's at least that have gotten into accidents at VIR.

Sorry for your loss, in for updates on the oil cooler, looks like there have been a few problems with other ones as well. I'm looking to get one installed so I'd like to try and avoid a potential failure.

Don't want to derail too much, but I put a Setrab 19 row with Aeroquip socketless fittings on my car and it was great. Come July/Aug we'll see if 19 will be enough in the TX heat, but for now at least it's awesome. The slight whine is a little annoying, but it keeps my temps way down, even when I'm tracking. I have never heard of an Aeroquip Socketless fitting failing and I know some people that have been using them for a while. There's a write up in my sig.

Hmm....Interesting. Many people asked me why I put the ties on my fittings when Aeroquipt says no additional clamping needed or desired. Seemed logical to me to lock the hose into the valleys between the Fitting ribs. 3500 miles now but no race action or super high temps. I'll be changing oil in the next few days and will report if any issues noted..
