This thread seems to pop up on all kinds of forums. I was reading an E90 BMW thread where they discussed the very same topic. The posters above are correct in that it is possible if the RPMs are matched, but if not....
 . I wouldn't dare try to do it, but if you are not worried about messing up the tranny then go ahead and try it.
