Always on. The other day I turned it off to have a little fun. From a stop I made a left turn in first gear. Part way through the turn I stepped on it and the tires broke loose and the wife and I proceeded to go side ways through the turn. As I completed the turn, still in first gear, we were almost completely side ways so I let off the throttle and straitened it out. If I had more room I would have dropped second and kept going. Man that was a lot of fun.

Parking lot, empty, slight incline to it, but not enough to throw things too far out of whack. Stopped. VDC off. Kick the auto-stick over. Turn wheel all the way to the right. Floor it. Car spins like a top. INSTANTLY. I did a 180 before I knew what happened (I expect it, but not THAT fast!) - so I stayed on it, and made another full circle (540) - then left the parking lot. That was the last thing I've done involving VDC and the steering wheel being anything but straight. A few days ago, I decided to remind myself of the amount of power. Dead stop. Turned off VDC. Kicked it over to the auto-stick. Floor it with wheels straight. Rear-end broke loose, and the rear kicked to the right then to the left for a mega-burnout in 1st through 2nd, and chirped 3rd. VDC is a safety measure everyone should use. I don't care if you think you're a pro, the car has a VERY steep learning curve to it, and unless you want to explain to your insurnace company and pay high premiums, that extra safety measure is a good thing. Maybe it is a bit too aggressive at knocking down the "funometer", but, it's doing so because perhaps the level of fun attempting to be had is bordering on stupid. |

![]() Nothing like flooring it and having it run up and stay between 6K and 7.5K, shifting and it dropping a bit and staying at 6K-7.5K, shifting it again, and it dropping and grabbing. The car rolling forward slowly (as compared to the speedometer) - lol I'm sure it plays hell on the drivetrain, but man it's freaking nuts. All that without a brake-stand - just flooring it from a dead stop.
