well he is your neighbor and you seem to be in good terms with him/her...plus you didn't see it and he/she says they didn't' do it...now, is it worth tarnishing

well he is your neighbor and you seem to be in good terms with him/her...plus you didn't see it and he/she says they didn't' do it...now, is it worth tarnishing some of that relationship with them over a scratch? if you knew for sure without a shadow of a doubt that they did it then by all means charge them for it...but if you don't have definite proof and you do charge them for it but they didn't really do it then they will be sore about it for sure and might ruin your relationship...tough call
