I believe it's definitely worth it to get the sport package.
One more difference is that the 19's come wrapped in Potenza's while the base is on Yoko's. As for the LSD, at least it makes drifting easier...

I don't think that would matter to a guy who is just making some spirited freeway runs every now and then. |

Also I guess we need a better definition on what OP means with spirited back road driving... I guess this isn't what he's talking about?

And what difference does that make exactly? both offer identical performance, if you wanna go that route, the base wheels are 4 lbs lighter per...

If you can afford the extra $2500, get the Sports package. If can't, then dont'.
I asked myself the same question. When i see the two side by side, i had to get the Sports package. |

spearfish nailed it - big upgrades to wheels, brakes and rear diff... the SRM is a safety feature in some ways, and you can always turn it OFF when you don't want to use it...

IMO - If you are looking to buy a "sports" car, then why wouldn't you get the car with the most "sport options". Depending on how you finance it, the extra $2,500 over the length of the terms wouldn't break most people.
Beware of the 'I'm going to replace all the sports mods anyway perspective." Add ons mean a lot to you and not many other people when you go to trade or sell the car. If you are not tracking the vehicle, you can get the sport options enjoy it and never worry about dumping two or three times as much money into the car then the original sports option costs. |
