High Intensity Discharge (HID) bi-functional xenon headlights. I just looked it up... its all standard for all the 370z.

so... i do not suggest for you to cover your headlights with anything otherwise its gonna cause it to burn out faster. its also going to distort your lenses and probably gonna turn yellow going down the road due to all the heat that the clear bra is absorbing.

Just picked up my car today and it looks awesome. Had the full hood, full front fenders, front bumper, mirrors, lower rockers, and those pieces to the left/right of the front windshield - forget what they are called. Anyway, price was $1150. No way you could have all that stuff painted (quality) for that price. Plus it stays looking good for a long time. Lifetime quarantee against bubbles, cracking, yellowing, etc.

Like i said before, i'm sold on this product since i've had it installed on now 4 different vehicles. It really does keep your front end protected and looking good.

Do you know of any research backing this up, kind of seems unlikely...

Completely false. I have been installing film on HID lights for years without any issues at all. It will not cause the ligts to burn out earlier and the film will not yellow. But going without film your lights WILL get chipped up. I highly recommend going with film on the lights as 1 light will cost more to replace than the entire cost of the install.
