It pairs very nicely with their tablet infotainment too. I have the first version, so I can't integrate them, but I'm going reach out to them to see what integration options the 2nd version offers.

so essentially you have moved the 3 gauge cluster to the front. Nice. Now it leaves you 3 holes to fill up with more usefull items like oil pressure and what ever else.

what is the -39F? Seems you have triplicated all the gauges. can those be customized?

Nice to see water temp in numbers and scale versus LED's lighitng up.

The -39f gauge is for coolant, and it's obviously misconfigured. I'm reaching out to nifty city to see what they can do to fix it. I'm going to ask about customization, because I would love to have an oil pressure gage

Another fault I found: Rev match no longer works and I can't get sport mod to turn on

Check you connectors again. I assume the S mode switch is in sam place as Manual? (Near shifter?) Since you installed the large screen, maybe coincidentally that connector has fallen off or loose.

The installation was quite easy. The stock gauge pod with a few bolts and there's 2 harness connectors to disconnect, and then the NC dash installs by connecting the harnesses and bolting it down. Nothing in the center console, or the Smode switch, are touched.

I think that its something simple and can be fixed easily. There's a delay when engaging S mode after pressing the button, so there seems a check by the ECU, such as turning on the light (among other things I'm sure). I'm fairly confident that they'll figure it out. NC has been pretty responsive so far

Quite a few of us requested customizable gauges when they were taking pre-development input. I see none of that was implemented.

But, for the gauges that are displayed to partially work and S-mode to stop working completely... you should ask around the G37/R35 pages to see if any of them are having the same issues since their clusters have been out a while longer.

At the moment, I can't see myself paying that much for less functionality than stock.

I'm really curious to see how carplay works on a setup like this (without the V2 unit sync) AND with how it works better with V2.

that's another topic that I want to engage them about. I asked what the integrations benefits are with the v2 tablet on their YouTube promo, but it went unanswered. I'm gonna drop that questions on their techs in their whatsapp chat

From what I gather, the main (and possibly only) feature is the ability to send part of the carplay screen to the cluster independently and be running it off of console unit (instead of bluetooth to the cluster only). This uses the HDMI, and would, for example, allow you to have your music from carplay on the center screen running audio through your speakers, and have a separate maps screen on your cluster, or any combination.

I'm just curious to see in photos/video how this works and what EXACT limitations are there if not using the V2.

I also have the Autometer dongle and app that I currently use on the center screen, so if that can port over to the cluster I can add any gauge configuration I want in that section, which would be phenomenal.

I could install the 10in Emtron display. It's just not worth all the custom work to make it happen unless Emtron would donate their time to make it work properly. That's not happening. LOL

Yup, I know it is. Getting all the functions to work will be a pain in the arse. The 10in. displays were not out when I went with the 5in. display in the cubby hole with a 3D printed mount.

yeah, haltech released their 10 inch screen fairly recently. It was tempting to do the upgrade from the ic-7 to the 10, but I would have had a hard time selling the one i have.

The latest software release was a pretty good upgrade; you can now program the gear indicator with your ratios, as well as define custom conditions to flash the CEL. I have yet to spend some time getting my custom logos back on there though.

EDIT: What i'd like to know is how Nifty City solved the issue with the charging circuit. -_-

I am on a standalone so I can see all of that. I have the voltage diplayed on my 5in display. I am just worried about turn signals, high beam, cruise control, mileage display, Gear, fuel gauge, etc. If I installed this display my stock one would have to come out and do another 3D scanned and printed one. The question is what other curve balls would I get thrown in the process.
