No one wants to buy car like that. It's because all those parts are more of a want than a need and they won't appeal to a majority of buyers. Simple.
I would do a part out, he has this forum at his disposal and should just do a part out and take the car back to stock as possible. Once stock, sell it. Fun fact, you will never make money back of a car unless its a unique, limited production which has eventually ceased production. Best of luck on that sale.
