Yes a tune would be better, but a tune can/should only come after all your other upgrades whereas a SB can be plugged in at any time.

I just said that I had come across it and was wondering about how the hell they would implement launch control. Which is a solid question, as that is the purpose of these forums. After reading the Injen X-pedal Pro Throttle Controller appears to be the same product as the SprintBooster. If you like the placebo effect go for it either one will do. For launch control you may want to get a custom ECUTek tune from a reputable tuner.
