I'm pretty consistent with Chevron 91 in Northern California. I think an octane any less than 91 would have its drawbacks and wouldn't be worth the $3/tank in savings. Edit:

I'm pretty consistent with Chevron 91 in Northern California. I think an octane any less than 91 would have its drawbacks and wouldn't be worth the $3/tank in savings. Edit: Shell gasoline is my second choice, but I haven't used it yet in the Z.
