There is a mod place down the street from me (Platinum motorsports) and they had a Rolls Royce Phantom outside. The owner had decided it would look good to get big, ugly chrome and gold wheels (That don't fit the car AT ALL) along with a matte black paint job. I'm just wondering about the price of the original paint job and how it was replaced by something vastly inferior/cheaper. Ugly, to boot. The owner probably drives it himself, too.

Wow...that's a cold remark! Personally I like Matte
Taking a 200-300K + car and painting it Matte is another story but still, everyone is entitled to what they like though I suppose (as long as they can afford it and its not a lease ![]() The Gold Rims and other ____, I'm with you there, really don't care for that whole rub it in your face bling bling

Some people just go with whatever the current fashion is without thinking whether it actually suits the car or not first. Wah! Wah! Wah!

He's telling me what I should do to my Z to make it the best...of any Z ever built. Doubt I'll follow thru as I only have so much money

Guy your mechanic don't have a clue and if he truly believes it himself I would bet his stang doesn't have the hp he is telling you? I would go to a real honest mechanic if I was you before I spend one more dollar at his place! Bogus numbers could = bogus work! |
