What's your ranking on GT5 Demo contest?

its possible, i didnt even think to mess with that but to me its the throttle sensitivity more than the steering... im using the new logitech GT that came out with prologue, i think it has more to do with the new physics plus professional setting with ASM off instead of the standard with ASM on that ive played for my entire life as far as cutting time i know alot of people are taking off almost a full second by running almost all 4 tires over that cement patch to the right of the last turn before the straightaway, if you do it just right it cuts the entire corner if you go too far over it will say " next lap invalidated"

ROFL - well you guys realize the tuned one is FAR from a 370z lol... the untuned one is close but the tires are just N2s

So after playing it for about 10 minutes tonight and using the ever-so-not-amazing PS3 controller to try to race, I clicked a few 1.55.xxx's off in the stock-er.. I THINK my best was 1.55.110. Not bad if I do say so myself - I havent touched GT5:P in months, at best. I'll mess around with the tuned car tomorrow.

Oh, worthy of note...anyone notice GTP_SpyHunter at position 9 or so for best combined times? Yeah, he's my friend from Omaha. I got to ride in his car at an HPDE earlier this year. That guy can f-ing drive, in real life AND in game.

Those are my best times with the poopy controller right now. Maybe I'll go snag one of the G27's here before the event expires :-p

okay, did you guys try the option menu and change the settings for the traction? it makes a difference because default is on 7 but you can do 10. for me it was a lot easier to drive after that.

and yes, GT series needs a wheel to have a true driving experience. Forza and GT are different beast. both good, but i think when you compare them, it's like apple to oranges. just my opinion anyway.
