There both are good, with the ARK you will get less drone and still sound sweet.
if you have HFC it will be louder.

Great list of mods! Those are the next big things on my list.

I'll probably shoot for the Nismo ratio though, 3.90. A 4.08 might be a bit much, for me anyway.

if i had bought new i probably would have done the same. I had 4.36 in my 240sx. THAT was ridiculous. so i'm hoping only going up one spot from the nismo won't be stupid lol.

4.08's are great. You will feel the difference. A tune will be needed to line up your SRM.

One of the many reasons why I chose the base model myself. The more "manual" my car is, the better IMHO.

Srm makes life easy when you daily during peak hours. I do practice with it off as well though. I cant heal toe well but im getting much better at downshift rev match lol

Memphis370Z 11-23-2018 06:49 PM

Got a nice Black Friday deal on BC Coilovers.

As usual, BIG thanks to Josh at Kami Speed. :tiphat:

Yeah but who heal-toes in regular everyday driving? I usually only do that when getting a little "aggressive" behind the wheel. :driving:

You can heel-toe right over the top of SRM. It works better that way. IF you don't get it perfect, SRM will make sure you do.

Had to when I had my 572ci Dart with 12.5 C/R. If you didn't do it on down shifts. The motor would lock up the rear N50-15 tires. We used to call that compression patches.

..Treated her personally to a top notch Engine oil Change - Royal Purple and FRAM Oil Filter, then put her on the Battery Tender till the Weather clears up nice and sunny and her and I can go out for a drive... For now, I just pat her Curvy Behind as she sits in the Garage patiently waiting, but never complaining...

So rushed the tender on with the mini jack clips instead of attaching the leads to the battery. Checked and all in good order. Dusted the dash. Sat in the seat making race car noises. Cried a little and went back inside. It was 9 on the weekend but hard parked already :(

Goodman! I gotta look at preemptively getting parts for my baby

Fuzzzy 12-05-2018 10:36 AM

Retrieved a small package that USPS had left on the spoiler while parked in the carport.

I can't recall ever having had that issue before. Must be the temp help for the holiday crush :shakes head:

Steeles350 12-05-2018 07:00 PM

Well I picked my car up from the shop today. Had a couple of setbacks in the process. waited on the machine shop for shims twice and then found out the carbonetics diff was no good. So had to go a different route. found a Quaife ATB that we dropped in instead. Car feels good. it's weird how something like that makes the car feel so responsive.

ChopsZ 12-05-2018 09:29 PM

Received a package from Osaka, Japan today... And promptly installed the contents...

Trying to start car after work last night...

“S#1t...S#1t...S#1t....”

keep pressing brake and mashing button, nothing...

Look down, stop pressing the A/C button and try the ON button and it starts right up

I've done the opposite before. Sitting in traffic and decide to turn the A/C on... Hit the ignition instead and car shuts off. LOL :nutswinger:

Getting differential fluid and spark plugs changed tomorrow. That will bring my girl to all new fluids since I got her at 98k 5 months ago. No I know all is well and continue all routine maintenance. No idea how the previous owner treated her before me. Already did brakes, brake fluid, radiator fluid, power steering fluid and oil change.

Student Driver??? Hmmmm... how can anyone get mad at you on the streets given you're a Student Driver? Plus everyone gives you lots of room. I think you're on to something.
