I drove it. didn't kill myself or anyone else. OK... may have scared a few people... but, in my defense i DROVE it!

not like the yuppie pampered yutz in their Leafs and grey hairs in the boats and soccer Mom's in their SUVs that I just "had" to weave in and out of because "it's green mofo!!! no other shade comes out!"

ok, ok, ... in all seriousness, I spoke with Jackson Racing regarding building a C-38-91 supercharger setup. starting the plans and buying the bits a piece at a time before buying the final rotrex and intercooler. Best help in this search and convo? FI and Jackson racing. meh results: RJ Manufacturing... whipple only... pssshhhh WORST help: Vivid racing - didn't even read the email for the totality of what I was looking for - had to tell him model 3 times....

Not exactly what kind of post I had desired to put up; But I知 glad to be alive & recovering...been home for 14days after spending 6 in hospital. Big SUV ran a stop sign & collected me in the intersection-sent me over an embankment & rolled,,,totaled Z & broke my L1 vertebrae, pelvis & 2 ribs...currently on walker & pt is coming by House 3days a week for pelvis.
Everything is healing up good/ saddened about Z; but very thankful to be Alive.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...f9d0f39080.jpg

Get well. At the end of the day your well being is all that matters.

Hotrodz 02-09-2018 07:58 AM

JC, I'm still in shock over your unfortunate situation. I am very happy that you are upright and breathing even with the new pieces of metal and screws in your body. You know my thoughts and prayers are with you my brother.

So sorry to hear my fellow Z brother :(

Terrific news that you are alive and healing. Best wishes in your continuing recovery and hope you are back in another Z soon :driving:

Dang man, Don't follow my lead. The car can be replaced. Alive and kicking is a great thing after that BS. It's the crazies
that you don't see that get you. Did you even see it coming?

Yeap, Give him something to shoot for.

JC, let me know if you need any help with lessons learned about getting
a lawyer, etc. I hope you had uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage. That saved my bacon with my wreck.

Tractionless 02-09-2018 01:15 PM

Front fog lights, Appradio 3, oil cooler.

When he ran the stop sign @ highway speed & put suv directly in front of me: it was either T-bone or steer to avoid T-bone,,,I steered the direction he was traveling & was gathered up...other than seeing trees & ditch bank coming-that is about all I remember, till I was feeling pain in my lower back.
HP & Fire Dept were excellent keeping me straight & getting out of car.

SUV left the accident scene & a witness jumped in their vehicle; chased them down & got tag, Vehicle description, driver description...waiting on things to unfold.

Magic Bus 02-09-2018 05:09 PM

jc, wishing you the best for a speedy recovery.

Unfortunately it's a story heard too many times nowadays, driver who causes an accident flees the scene and renders no aid :shakes head:

You have no idea how bad I want to find the guy that hit me and put my foot up his butt. He said, "My boss has good insurance". Yeah, the minimum of 25,000. My uninsured motorist picked up the tab.

I would wait a year then give him a anniversary present. A 55 gallon drum of whoopass.

I have done this a time or 3.

Decided to give my girl a good cleaning today and when I went to start her up and back her out of the garage nothing happened. I was like  WTF did I leave the lights on or something. After checking the battery and not knowing if I should scratch my watch or wind my arse I figured it out and it was the dreaded steering lock. I just set there cussing the Nissan dealership that was supposed to have fixed the issue under the recall they issued on it. So it is fixed now as I pulled the fuse. Freaking Nissan!!!!:shakes head::shakes head::shakes head:

That's not a nice gesture by the stealership :shakes head: It's like these dealerships have a shady playbook to undermine customers.
