I can get the car up on four jack stands without much effort now. The minimal hassle saved with a QJ just doesn't seem worth a $1300+ investment. Especially when I consider that I can get a 2 post lift for an 8' tall garage for $1700.

No way it's high enough to roll a trans out on a jack. It's only like 22" unless you get one of the higher end ones. Maybe if you had blocks tall enough. Even then I'm unsure if it would be high enough. My stands are 21.5" and I need to raise the front another 4" to get the trans back under the car.

Not knocking the QJ I think it would be great for oil changes, tire rotation, brakes and exhaust work. If I had the room and an extra grand burning a hole in my pocket I'd get one. Too many parts to buy

Oh I can’t imagine moving it around lol. Personally, I’ll want them stationary at one spot. I’ll just park my Z over it every time. Maybe build a small incline ramp on each end.

The picture on the box is a bunch of BS. Aint no way someone is going to be dragging both ramps behind them like that! Even though they have little plastic wheels, thats one way of messing up your back or shoulders!

They're certainly not light.. but they have wheels on one end so you can maneuver it around.

Wrapped both sides of the Y pipe. Miserable experience even with the wrapping pre-soaked. Going to take a 30 minute shower/decon and get this fiberglass OFF MY ******* SKINhttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...9a29e44677.jpg

I did the hfc on the G in fiberglass. Never again. Using Ti from now on. Ti wrap is way easier to work with, no splinters no wet wrap to mess with.

Have you noticed a heat difference in the cabin since wrapping the driver's side pipe? Or is it too soon?

Just posted the ole' girl up for sale today, both here on the forum and in the Central Florida Z Club on FB.

I just saw it... Maannnn, sucks you have to part with such a sweet Z. I understand why though. There will always be another Z out there waiting for you when you're ready.

I swapped out the non-functional side markers on my Z with ones from an '09-'15 model. They light up beautifully when the turn signals are activated. Simple mod. Cheap. Easy enough I can do it.

Haven't taken her out for a long drive yet. I'm being extraordinarily cautious after my little bounce off the rev limiter last Saturday.

When I checked the oil yesterday I had lost approx. 14 oz. in the 600 miles and six days since I last pulled the dipstick. Oil pressure readings seem okay, no signs of external leakage, and I'd previously replaced the oil gallery gaskets as a precautionary measure.. would appreciate any advice on what to look for.

I lost count on how many times mine has been bounced off of the rev limiter. :rofl2: :driving:
