I had mine color matched Mag Black a while back, I'm trying to get the guy who did it to do more but he is swamped with a big side job right now. Hope he can clear things out and knock out a pair or 2 in late summer/early fall

Washed, clayed, polished.... tree sap is evil!

Used CQuartz Ceramic for the first time. Was extremely easy to use!

Waited 5 hours then added the finisher Gliss.

be sure to thoroughly and carefully mask off most of your car. YOu spray at angles to get inside the handle. I found plastidip particles by the driver mirror. And since our Z's are black you ain't gonna find it until you detail the car. WD40 and microfiber helps get it off.

That would be the bomb.com. Although I do appreciate how the plastidip matte black matches with the part of my CS mirrors that attaches to the body.

No pics but I washed, detailed, and finished most of the 49 final prep line items needing doing before I leave tonight for the Blue Ridge Parkway.

A couple of suspension tweaks, new set of plugs and fresh tank of 96 octane.
Spirited drive today with car hooking up well.

Washed and waxed over the weekend. Stars were aligned this morning for the perfect pairing of a set of corners and traffic. :driving: I don't even think I pissed anyone off. :happydance:

Just got back home to the Chicago area after leaving it Sunday evening for a little spin on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Total drive timer on the Z read 24:03, [1]532 miles, in one sitting with no sleep.

Also ended up lost in the real backcountry woods of N. Carolina. Total quiet except for the rasp of my HFCs... and then I heard the sounds of a banjo drifting through the woods. Ran like hell.

Time to pass out, here's hoping I dont hear that **** in my dreams.

 :driving: Go crash in your sleep.
In my 20's. Me and a few of my buddies used to see how far we could drive in 24hrs. Drive out 12hrs. Get a post card and mail it back. Then drive back home. I put a chit load of miles on my 1st TransAm. :driving:

My last long drive was last year in the motorhome. Drove from just east of Toledo Ohio to North Platte Ne. 1,011 miles in 16hrs. Had to be in Rawlins Wy. the next day for a wedding. :icon14: I've never do that again. Took me a day to recover.

I've done Fort Collins to Austin. About 990 miles in 14.5 hours. Stopped for gas twice and food once.

I've done Fort Davis and back in a day for work before. About 850 miles total; 6 hours each way. Spent 45 minutes there doing an inspection.

I tried to do Houston, TX to St Petersburg, FL in one sitting after my TT install... but I was falling asleep at the wheel by Tallahassee and stopped for the night.
