I can get the car up on four jack stands without much effort now. The minimal hassle saved with a QJ just doesn't seem worth a $1300+ investment. Especially when I consider that I can get a 2 post lift for an 8' tall garage for $1700.

I got mine for $999 on line from Costco! It is much safer than Jack stands too. Not sure about the height of the lift yet. You are young and don't have deal with bad knees and hips lol.

I don't have a Costco card. Home Depot has it for $1099. Plus $97 for large blocks. Plus $85 for pinch weld blocks. Plus $85 for portable power if I wanted to take it on the road. It adds up.

I'm not convinced it's any safer than jack stands. Anything can fail...

I can't disclose that. I don't want people getting in the way lol.

I'm not trying to talk you into getting one. Mine came with large and small blocks so I don't have to buy them.

You got to do what is good for you. I have used Jack stands all my life without fail so you have no argument from me.

Didn't realize it came with blocks. I would assume the retail package from Home Depot is the same. I'm trying to convince myself I don't need one. Because I'll probably end up with a 2 post lol.

Large blocks are redundant once you get the pinch weld blocks; you wont be able to stack both underneath. You can fit the pinch blocks on the small blocks. I was worried ab keeping the pinch and small blocks aligned with each other during the lifting process so I duct taped them together.

LMAO, you are way more mechanically inclined than me and do your own wrenching so it would make sense. It's that whole thing of I have got by without it and for $1200 I can buy more parts for the car! Any more I compare everything to a set of $1300 set of tires that are no good after three track weekends or less! So the lift was a no brainer.

I'd love to have either a lift or a QJ, but at those prices, I can buy either more car parts or things that go 'boom'.... :rofl2::rofl2:

I had my steering wheel wrapped in full alcantara with red stitching.

Especially for a lowered Z, and eeeeessssspecialy with the longer 09-14 Nismo front overhang, it’s great luxury to be able to get all 4 wheels off the ground quickly. For my car (lowered 09 Nismo), even with a long reach flat low profile jack, it’s such a drag to:

-get the car on some kind of block to raise up the front
-then jack up the front
-place jack stand
-then jack the rear
-place jack stand

Someday I’ll get one of these fancy QJ or a 2 post lift...some day in the unknown distant future lol.

The biggest pain the @ss about the qj is theyre so freakin heavy.

My replacements didn't have the black interior part... If they had, I would have removed them.

Oh I can’t imagine moving it around lol. Personally, I’ll want them stationary at one spot. I’ll just park my Z over it every time. Maybe build a small incline ramp on each end.
