I have to agree with most everything said thats why I am not selling my 2009 Blue 370Z with 35K. Resale is nowhere near where it should be, and the cars are scarce. They only made 114 blue 6mt with the sport pkg. in 09. 2010-12 the total output was only 80 units and the last production year for the blue. The Sales Manager at my dealership has sent me an e-mail and called me about selling my car, claiming he had a buyer willing to pay top dollar, no thanks it wouldn't be enough and very difficult to find a replacement. I called on a local seller who just bought a loaded white 2017 Nismo, paid 48K and went down to Tenn. to pick it up. Now with only 273 miles on it he is asking 41K, why because he is in his 70s, over 6ft. tall and about 250lbs and it is too much trouble getting in and out of the car and he feels tight while seated, Oh Boy

That's an article from an unbiased car enthusiast.

LOL - very true, I thought the same thing. The person who wrote it is definitely a big Nissan Z fan and while they bring up valid arguments - I would argue that we all wish the Z had more power whether that means adding a turbo or have a better tuned vehicle that can compete with the Mustangs and Camaros of the world.
Overall, I love my car and I plan on keeping it for a long time; have even thought about trading mine in for a 'newer' one since my current ride has 85k miles on her. But then again, these cars can easily go 150k if not more - and the car is very reliable so why not keep it for another 70k miles (that would be minimum 4years for me) since I drive a lot. And I would agree, if you are in the market for a new Z, I would suggest check out a used one and invest in mods where you can get the ride exactly where you want it. |
