Tough Decision, did you look for a G37C with an automatic. That would satisfy you guy's needs, good luck on your decision!

I can comment on this, as I have both a Z (just picked it up today though!) and a 2008 G35x Sport (4 door).

Based off of my *very* brief Z ownership thus far... If I had to have one, it'd be the Z. Nothing feels quite like a true sports car, and the Z is a true sports car in every sense of the term. That said, the G is infinitely more practical, rides a lot smoother, and has a gorgeous interior with room, all of which may be important later in life. As someone said before, the steering in the G is quite a bit lighter, and while it has great road feel, it doesn't feel like a true sports car.

In sum, they are both awesome - But knowing your situation, the Z would win in my book.

Ok, i found my NEW LOVE! Forget the G or the Z , Go V!!

Haha, I turned my Z into service department today and they gave me this loaner. But I drove that V like a Z. I was passing people going 80mph.

007mech I think you made a solid decision in keeping the 370.

It's funny how so many of us here are currently (or have been at one time) debating between owning these 2 cars....like I said, I'm even debating the same colors you had! The only diff is that the 370 I'm considering is a 6spd touring/sport, not a base/sport.

Anyway, I think I'll be going with a 370 as well.....90% sure anyway. LOL

The deal breaker for me would have been that the G was used while the Z was new. New = better

never liked the G37C's ever since they screwed up the design on the production model... i was pretty much sold when they first released the concept. since i already own a G35C that would've been my natural choice. i still have my G35C.

sell the G37C, keep the 370Z.

Easy! Your wife keeps the AT one, and you keep the MT one! NO problemo! Congrats on either or both--I like both, but own an AT 350Z, till death do us part!

Yoda said, "To Z or not to Z that is the question" Choose other than the Z and you will enter the Dark Side.... There is only one choice for the force to be with you.

I had a G35C, and I thought the styling of the G37C was too feminine...I got rid of my 350Z for the G35C, and I never liked the G35C other than the looks...I was planning on purchasing another 350Z, but was holding out hoping the G37C would perform better than the G35C...however, when I saw the G37C, it totally changed my mind...the concept pictures looked promising of an aggressive redesigned, but when I actually saw the first photos of the car, I thought Hyundai took over Infiniti...I was hoping that I would like it in person, but no dice...

the design of the G37C seems to gear towards either the older crowd or the feminine crowd. It's kinda like what Lexus did with the SC...
