has no one really heard about putting the acc mode on first before the engine startup?

I heard this would help with the longevity a bit.

Been driving/working on cars and reading about them for over 40 years and never heard that.

I've seen cars where you needed to wait a few seconds before starting but, as mentioned above, this was due to glow plugs warming up, fuel pumps priming, etc, and had nothing to do with the electrical system.

Been working with cars for about 6 years and that's enough time to hear almost everything about a car.

Some guy up top has 40 years experience. Don't know who told you that but they're totally wrong lol. I wouldn't take car advice from whoever said that.
