I got a question:
I read some where that Redline MT90 might not be good for the transmission synros. The gear box might be smooth but oil doesn't protect the synros as good as original trans oil. (I could be wrong). My story: I had a VW vr6 back then and I changed the oil to MT90 at around 90K km and when the car was at 140K km the transmission failed (grinny, tran oil leaking...). Not sure if it was the oil but VW tranny should last more than 140K. Anyone? |
