Ordinarily I would suggest that you try it and find out, but in this case the resulting damage could cost you thousands of dollars.
Then again, I don't know, maybe today's automatic transmissions have protection mechanisms to prevent these kind of mishaps. So, does the car still drive forward and reverse? Does it roll in Park?
