With the fuel starvation issue of the Z, it makes no sense to me to squeeze in an extra half-gallon just to turn around and fill it before it gets

With the fuel starvation issue of the Z, it makes no sense to me to squeeze in an extra half-gallon just to turn around and fill it before it gets down to a quarter-tank. I have just resigned myself to stopping at a gas station more frequently.
It really isn't a big time-waster--especially compared to any problems that over-filling or running too low might cause. |
