And yes there are companies out there that will do a diminished value assessment. You aren't going to get very far with the insurance company without one. |

I was hoping you wouldn't say Geico. They ******* suck when it comes to DV. I fought them on my truck. If you want more than $1k get ready to take them to court. Their standpoint is they save more money by paying a lawyer to fight your claim than paying it out. |

And not to toot your horn but I hear State Farm is the best when it comes to paying DV. They'll still lowball you at first, cuz that's what insurance companies do, but they ultimately will pay a 'fair' amount.

I hate to see these threads. My 350z got totaled 3 weeks after I paid it off by getting rear ended. It made me sick. Hopefully the insurance will take care of you.

Wow, not even broken in yet and with dealer tags. Scary part is that if it were me, one I'm a texan and 2, I have a CHL. I love my car but man that would make me crazy!

Also, if you'll PM me and tell me what insurance companies are involved, I may be able to give you more insight. Chances are I've either worked for them or decided their cases in Arbitration.

I know it doesn't seem like it now, but the damage doesn't look that severe. My guess is a new rear fascia and probably a new crash beam underneath. Hard to say until the fascia is removed......
It doesn't appear to be any damage to the fenders, which would be more complicated to repair. Looks like the hatch is good too. I think it looks skewed due to the fascia being shifted. Let's us know how the repairs go....hope to see you back on the forum soon!
