Missing my Nismo

Glad to see this thread. I am saving up for a 16 Nismo right now and have been looking at the 5.0 or the new SS. I have gone back to the Ford dealer a few times thinking am I going to pay the same for a Z thats an old platform and less power but I am pretty sold on the Nismo.

I just sold my older Camaro SS and wanted a sports car again so thats why I wanna get the Z even if its long in the tooth to some extent. I have the same feelings on the new SS and 5.0 they have all this power but are not true drivers cars. More of a muscle car that handles good but doesnt have that feedback we want from a sports car.

My Challenger RT, off the line would beat my Z, but, am I a drag racer? No. Would I drag race on the street? No, too old for that. I wanted a car that was a balance of power and handling, fun to drive, 2-door, NO back seat, and not just an "image" if you get my drift. I had no qualms about selling the Challenger and going back to the Z. It was what I really wanted...that I could afford.

Did you start in 1st gear, its the top left area or "D"?
