Those look pretty good, I like em!
Usually all the wiring is there even if the optional part isn't (In this case the kick plates) so they shouldn't be too difficult to install.

I saw them in person I really like them. I don't care what people think, I love them. Most of the cars that I saw had them already installed and cost $200 on top of MSRP.

If you have the Service Manual, directions/instructions, should be there.

I'm sorta hoping it doesn't come pre-installed when I get mine, so I can look forward to a group like EVO-R to do something similar or better. White LED illumination is something I'd like. Otherwise, I'd pull it apart and change out the LED. :-D

Nope you don't have to worry about that. It's optional. I do prefer a different color. Bluish/purple would be sweet or changes colors.

I just did mine. Tour & sport package, it was not pre wired. It is very easy and would not pay to have it done if you have a little bit of experience playing around.
Hardest part was disconnecting the wire harness from the box. It is on the passenger side under the dash. The connector was a little bit hard to get off and in a hard to reach place. I would also recommend you have a cable snake to route the cable from the passenger side over to the driver side. Mine had a about a 1/2" space to slide the wire through. Cable snake made it very easy. |
