Why not install everythang on the same time then a week later go in for alignment? I don't understand the reason for splitting the install on separate days

im just going by from what ive read and the shops recommendation. springs and spacers are going in first, i guess i can also ask for them to install the camber arms too. ill have to go a second time to the shop for alignment anyways. im no expert, so i was just taking into consideration what ive read and from what ive been told

Yes allow some time for it to settle. To install the camber arms, yourE going to drop the spring buckets again anyways, so I would just set the camber arms to the same length as oem when installing. The tech will adjust accordingly when you go to align it. However, if the shop is doing the install it doesn't really matter. I thought you were doing this yourself, that's why I suggested it.

I know this is pointless right now, but it might be of help to anybody planning on doing Swifts down the road doing their research, but with all due respect, you don't have to drop the spring buckets to pop in the camber arms if you want do it later on. The room is there and neither end of the arm shares the same points as either end of the spring bucket. You don't even need to drop the spring bucket to swap out the stock toe bolts for SPL/SPC toe bolts. You simply put a jack under the inboard end of the SB to hold it in place while you remove the stocker and slip in it's replacement.

Sorry, you are correct. I meant the toe bolts. I don't see how you can enlarge the hole without dropping the bucket. Swapping only the bolts back into the OEM holes isn't going to help you gain any additional toe adjustments. Maybe SPL is different, but for my SPC kit, I had to enlarge the holes.

FWIW I had my camber stuff installed at the same time I had my coilovers installed and had my alignment done about a month later...

albeit not by choice; Westend alignment's schedule was full and I had to wait a full month for a proper alignment and corner balance
