I do notice the noise, but consider it to be a minor inconvenience and a more than reasonable trade-off to get that kind of performance for that price. Funny thing is that my winter driver (2015 GMC Sierra 2500HD) is the quietest vehicle I've ever owned, and my Z is the noisiest.
