So you realize the people at the dealershit don't know squat ... yet, you believe that someone sitting behind a desk answering phones is going to be more knowledgeable about the 370Z than the numerous forum members that work specifically on this vehicle and encounter issues specific to this car more often than most dealershits and far more often than the customer service rep answering the phones? As mentioned, corporate reps are not mechanics; they will just point you to the dealershit. The forum has lots of good info, but like the rest of the internet, you will need some reading comprehension to determine what bits of info are accurate and useful to you and which ones are not.

Generally, I would NEVER trust the dealershit. Their business model is based on deceiving customers for profit. They changed my ATE brake fluid without my permission when all that was needed was a top off, and then they tried to charge me for it before giving me my keys back.

Best bet is to find a reputable mechanic. Find one that specializes in Z/G cars if possible. Another solution is to learn to do the work yourself. I did both. I do pretty much everything myself now, but I have a trustworthy shop as back up if I get in over my head
