I have no problem with a Z for a 16 year old kid's first car. BUT you better respect what it is and how much power it has. Good kids should be rewarded. But if you are a spoiled little $hit then your 'rents are idiots.

Trust me, if I didn't deserve it, I'd be mobbing with a mini van.

Calm down? lol. Who said I wasn't calm?

Just saying that the title of this thread leaves you open to getting "burned." It is rather arrogant and that isn't the way to go about it. This is primarily an enthusiast forum so you will encounter everyone from legal age to drive into their 70s and beyond.

I see you live in Scottsdale. Congratulations. That is a rather well-to-do area. So your parents bought you a decent car for your first. Ok. And? Like anyone here gives a ****.

Bottom line... Pointless thread.

And you are coming in on the heels of the badass that went by "Bad Boy." Not good.

So let's go ahead and get into something of value. What do you plan to do with the car? Going to hit the track? Keep it stock and race it for what it is? Gonna mod the crap out of it? What are your plans? Answer that and you'll get some brownie points.

Still dont know who this Bad Boy guy is lol, and I just plan on cruising around, drift in parking lots, mod it, but not too heavily. Honestly, all i'm looking to invest in for now is a new exhaust and i'll be getting it shortly. I don't plan on doing anything serious with it such as racing on the tracks. Maybe that time will come, but for now, will just do a few street races here and there and enjoy the amazing z. And my bad for telling u to calm down, you seemed pretty heated, but u do leave a valid argument haha

No way man. Not heated at all. Just be careful about those "street races" and don't advertise it here. Sure way to get booted. No one here condones those actions. Just be safe. And no matter what... enjoy that car. I loved mine when I had it. Recently traded in for a 911. Yeah.. went to the dark side. lol. Anyway. Enjoy it! Come to the premium section and get involved. Bunch of good people in their and good advice. Lots of gay talk too. Something for everyone.

Street races...son

Please don't even try. You're 16. You still got a long way to go ahead of you. Want to go fast? Get on a track although I'm not even sure they allow underaged drivers on the track anyway, but please don't endanger yourself or worse somebody else.

If you want to learn about the limits of your car you should check this out ...

Street Survival

This school is designed for younger drivers who want to understand the limits of their car in wet and dry conditions. It is well worth it. Sponsored by TireRack, SCCA, Porsche Club, and BMW CCA, these guys will send you through the ringer on wet/dry skid pad, autocross, slalom, lane change, and maximum braking tests in various conditions. It is an all day event with equal parts classroom and driving your own car. I wanted to do it but they only permit entry to 15 to 21 year old drivers with learners permit or drivers license.

It is the best $75.00 you or your parents will ever spend. And you get to drive your car, to the limits and beyond, all while an experienced performance driving instructor is with you. How much more fun could you have.
