Oil Capacity between the dots on the dip stick

It made sense to be about 1 quart between the dots, but I think it is more than that based on my measurement. I filled it around 80% full which

It made sense to be about 1 quart between the dots, but I think it is more than that based on my measurement.

I filled it around 80% full which is on the upper range of the dots. I don't want to over-fill it.
