Where did he go racial? I see that no where in the slap yourself post... Secondly please please please tell me you are really joking about a Japanese version that is lighter because it uses more light weight materials. Even if (which I dont know the regulations in japan) they are less stringent on safety and lets say they dont require the airbags and such you are talking 30-50 lbs at most of removed safety equipment. and that is saying the even bother to remove it (which I also highly doubt) but I can tell you for sure that they do not manufacture separate parts that are made of carbon fiber or titanium and are lighter. Please tell me you arent that ignorant.
