Did you experience any power loss switching to a y pipe? The reason why I ask this is because the Nismos have more power because of the h pipe design exhaust.

Nearly every aftermarket exhaust will be an improvement over anything that came on the Z, stock or Nismo.

I didn't notice any power loss. I did notice a HUGE difference is the exhaust sound which is 110% better than the factory Nismo exhaust. The Meisterschaft exhaust sound completes the car & makes it a whole lot meaner sounding.

Car sounds great! CG's on the new exhaust. I have a soft sport for Meisterschaft exhausts. I just threw up a video of mine being transported to GTM. Hard to tell how loud it is, even with a 93db rated exhaust like the Tanabe, but those headers really worked well with it. In the video, when the transport guy is trying to get it up the ramp, the CIVIC behind my Wife started beeping. Was only part throttle. It's in my journal linked in my sig. BTW, it's 3am where I'm at currently. It is a Tuesday...

Thanks man! I am so happy to have this exhaust. Does headers make a big difference in performance and sound?

Oh yes. Night and day in regards to both. Highest performing single bolt on NA part. I on the other hand would think twice running it on your setup. They will rasp without resonators. I bought a quiet exhaust (midpipe back), with a y pipe that allowed me to run how I needed it to.

I appreciate it & thank you bigsix.

Johncy2000, I'm glad you are happy with your exhaust. In my persoanl opinion I believe Meisterschaft is best sounding exhaust for the 370Z.
