Default Upgrading a New Nismo?

Now that I have my 2011 Nismo I am interested in knowing what upgrades are available and how they will improve and impact the car's overall performance. I know most folks would say oil cooler and I suppose that is a given but what about other upgrades such as suspension, intake and exhaust systems? Anything to consider on the interior?

Kinda sucks that you are going to remove some parts you paid extra for by getting the NISMO. But upgrades can be minor or very extensive, you have to give some idea of what your going for and budget. Pure Performance, Pure show, or somewhere in between? I know what my plan is but I am sure that is very different from what you have in your mind.

HFC/TP
Springs
Oil cooler
Drop in filter & post MAF tubes
Short shifter & shift knob
Audio

That should give you some general ideas.

I've only done a CBE. The stock NISMO exhaust is too quite and doesn't perform (only good for about 7hp over stock). Salvaged my fast intenstions exhaust off my previous 370z and bolted it on the first week of ownership. Not only does the car actually sound good now but I also got a nice little boost in power (FI exhaust is good for about 15-18hp over stock which means for the NISMO it's good for about 8-11hp). Aside from that the only mod I plan to do is k&n drop in's. The body kit is fine the way it is. The wheels are also fine the way they are. Suspension is already stiff enough for my needs, even in auto-x. I'd love to get more power but I'm not interested in making the car any louder with test pipes or headers. The car already has a tune so don't need to bother with that. Intakes aren't worth the price over k&n drop in's, or at least to me they aren't. So basically not doing much to the car.

By the way, love the color. Wish I would have waited and got GM instead of MB. The black is such a pain to keep clean and in my opinion just doesn't look as sexy as the gun metal. Nice choice

K&N drop ins for better breathing
F.I. Exhaust for extra power and agressive sound
BC racing coilover for getting rid of the Fender wheel gap
H&R wheel spacers for agressive stance
DNX 7160 for your tunes
And you are good to go

Thanks guys. I really appreciate all the responses. What FI exhaust would you recommend? TDX cat back system or just high flow cats?

Lowering springs and spaced wheels out on mine to get more of a "hella flush" look... additional body bracing to stiffen up the chassis.... Put in a custom short ram with bell mouth intakes just so I can hear my engine roar more which negates the need for a louder exhaust IMO. And of course, fully upgraded the crappy audio.

TDX 18" resonators with carbon fiber mufflers is what I have. Love the sound and look. Personally I'd do the exhaust before test pipes but that is just my preference. Exhaust is more expensive but will in my opinion give better sound, will also let you lose a few pounds off the car, and you don't have to worry about the computer throwing a CEL because of the O2 sensors not working properly with the HFC. Others will disagree. I suggest you research both and make up your own mind. Honestly, they are both good mods.

Keeping mine as is. Just drop ins& short tail custom muffler delete. Not quite enough punch off a roll but plenty of power that I haven't fully mastered yet.
