i think the biggest difference behind the wheel is that when you look in the rear view mirror, you notice that the rear wing covers up half of the view

You sure hang out a lot in the NISMO section just to make mindless, non contributing posts...

I am sure the 370s are the same across the board. It is higher than my last car though.

i don't think i am paying higher insurance premium for my nismo.
the record from the insurance company only says 370z
and the premium they charge for the nismo is lower than the 6 year old mercedes that i traded in.

I'm pretty sure you're correct, torpedo, although calculating insurance varies from place to place. If somewhere an insurance company can use that as an excuse to milk you for more money, you know they will.

Not to slam any particular insurance company but I check rates annually just to see if my current premium is in line with others. I had been with the company with the green mascot for 16 years! When I bought the Z I checked rates again. Apparently they were trying to gouge me on the new car. Right inline with your comment. I switched and saved >$400 a year.

One of my favorite moments: (although I have a touring Z with red sport calipers) A cop on a motorcycle next to me at a red light lowered his head to come to eye level with me and gave me a smile and a thumbs up. It startled me because he looked EXACTLY like the T-1000!!

Wow, guy starts a thread about the NISMO and the attention it gets and wants to know or share moments we all had with our NISMOS and sure enough the haters jump in. See it gets attention everywhere. Something the non nismo guys aren't use too. Envy. We know. I had a guy at a gas station say to me " Nice fuching car! " Wasn't sure if he meant it in a good way or was an import hater " Chicks dig it. I had a few guys at starbucks make some dumb comments " hey is that the new 370Z I heard they go 200mph" another said he raced one and beat it in his F150. I asked him are you sure he was racing you. He said he floored it when the light turned green and the Z was behind him. Z was probably just driving normally. But in his mind cuz he was ahead of him at the light, he won. Surely ppl can't confuse a Nismo with a GTR. I also had a stranger ask if this was my car, I said yes, he then told me he hated me, this was a complete stranger. As for insurance my nismo is way less than my challenger was.
