NISMO damper what is it doing

I have seen all the post but I cant find a real document about the damper function

I know what I think is is for, but after 3 years I still am not sure.

They are essentially strut braces with a small shock inside. They mount in the front bumper, at the peak of the frame rails, and then in the rear spare tire well. Their job is to dampen vibrations and harmonics that are a natural byproduct of running stiffer springs and more aggressively valved shocks (and lower profile tires) as the NISMO Z comes with. I have the front one from the NISMO 350Z on my car (the rear wont fit due to my sub box). It is a completely dramatic change (for the better) vs not running it. My car was never uncomfortable, despite its very low stance and low profile tires (HKS coilovers and 265/30, 185/30 RE050A), but with the front damper installed, the car was a pleasure to drive on our crappy local roads. So much so that it is more composed than my daily driver ('07 9-3 Aero Wagon).

Thinking of adding to my 370z non nismo. Anybody have a stillen gen 3 CAI and 25+ row oil cooler? Does the front chassis stiffner get in the way a bit?

Following a half year of testing, the first application of the PD came about in 2001 on the limited Toyota Crown Athlete VX with only 300 produced for the Japanese domestic market. Toyota decided to expand the use of the PD equipping select models globally with the Corolla XRS, Matrix SE and TS (in Europe). I got the G3's with the Z1 34 row cooler. I added a 1/4" spacer under the mounts and flipped the dampener around.

The performance damper acts to control the transmission of micro vibrations to the body. During circuit driving, micro vibrations from the car body are transmitted through the steering system to the driver, resulting too often in unnecessary steering corrections. With the performance damper installed, however these micro vibrations are eliminated and excessive steering wheel handling is no longer needed, resulting in more stable handling.
